The Kansas City Chiefs have come back from an early 13-6 hole to take a 27-16 lead over the Atlanta Falcons, and it’s all thanks to some tricky play calling from head coach Andy Reid.
Albert Wilson ran perfect fake punt to score a Chiefs touchdown vs. Falcons
Andy Reid got bold, and his trickeration paid off.
With Kansas City facing 4th and 2 from its own 45-yard line, upback Albert Wilson took a direct snap untouched through the Atlanta rush and into open land. From there, all he had to do was shake punt returner Eric Weems before diving head over heels into the end zone.
The trick play caught Atlanta completely off guard and gave the visiting Chiefs a two-possession lead early in the third quarter.
