In just his second NFL season, Derek Carr has already become a franchise quarterback and a fantasy football stud.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 14: Derek Carr a risky play vs. Chiefs
As good as Derek Carr has been, one of his worst games this year came vs. Kansas City.

Through 12 games, Carr has thrown for 3,375 yards and 24 scores vs. just five interceptions and 12 sacks taken. His rise to stardom has also helped spark the rise of the Oakland Raiders, who have the AFC’s No. 1 seed if the playoffs began today.
However, one of Carr’s worst performances this season came vs. the Kansas City Chiefs that Oakland faces on Thursday Night Football this week. In that Week 6 matchup, Carr was held to 225 passing yards and one score vs. one interception, two fumbles, and two sacks taken.
Kansas City has a stout defense that was making most quarterbacks look bad to begin this season. They allowed just one quarterback to score 18-plus fantasy points in their first six games. However, they have allowed seven-straight quarterbacks to score 20-plus fantasy points.
Fantasy Impact: Yahoo! ranks Carr as the 13th-best quarterback in Week 14. He faces a Chiefs defense allowing the third-most fantasy points to quarterbacks over the last five weeks.
Treat Carr more like the third or fourth-ranked quarterback this week and plan on starting him.
