Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon was activated from the active/NFI list and is back in practice on Monday.
Josh Gordon returns to practice, remains a risky fantasy option
Gordon will miss the first four weeks of the regular season, but he appears ready to play in preseason.

Gordon sat out the first couple weeks of training camp with a quad injury, while attempting to get back into football shape following a long layoff. Gordon sat out the entire 2015 season with a drug suspension and will miss the first four games of this year as part of his reinstatement deal with the NFL. The 25-year-old played just five games in 2014 and 14 in 2013, missing time with various suspensions.
Fantasy impact: Gordon lit the fantasy world on fire in 2013, racking up 87 catches for 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns despite missing two games. It’s been all downhill from there, however — Gordon looked sluggish in his limited action in 2014 and it’ll be almost two full years before he sees the field in a regular season game.
The Browns are starved for talent at receiver, so Gordon should be a boost on offense when he comes off his latest suspension in Week 5. However, fantasy owners should approach him with caution — it’s hard to justify using a bench spot on a player who won’t be active for about a third of the fantasy season. Gordon might be the biggest risk at receiver this season.
