After a disastrous offseason, Buffalo Bills running back Karlos Williams appears to be back in game shape. He passed his physical on Monday and was removed from the active/NFI list, making him eligible to practice for the first time this training camp.

Williams will try to make up for a terrible offseason. We break down the fantasy implications.

Williams seemed destined for bigger things after a promising rookie year, but almost nothing went right for him in the spring. He showed up at OTAs severely overweight and got hit with a four-game drug suspension. Williams has since fallen behind Mike Gillislee, Reggie Bush and rookie Jonathan Williams on the depth chart.
Williams rushed for 517 yards and seven touchdowns on just 93 carries last year. He also had 11 catches for an additional 96 yards and two touchdowns.
Fantasy impact: Getting cleared for practice is a good sign for Williams, but he has a lot of ground to make up. The suspension means that he won’t be able to help fantasy owners in the early part of the season, and LeSean McCoy is still entrenched as the starting running back. Williams has fallen off the radar in re-draft leagues and is only a dynasty stash at this point.
