Seattle Seahawks running back C.J. Prosise returned to practice Monday and looks to make up for lost time after missing most of training camp with a nagging hamstring injury.
C.J. Prosise returns to practice and could be valuable fantasy handcuff
Prosise is practicing for the first time in training camp. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Seahawks took Prosise in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft, with the aim of making him a versatile passing-down back. However, the hamstring injury has bothered him for most of the offseason and he’s fallen behind in his development. Prosise is currently battling Christine Michael and fellow rookie Alex Collins for a backup job behind starter Thomas Rawls.
Fantasy impact: Michael worked with the first team in Seattle’s preseason opener and seems to be locked in as the No. 2 back, but Prosise could still find playing time this season. He’s probably not the sexy fantasy sleeper he was a couple months ago, and re-draft owners can drop him in their draft rankings. However, Prosise is an intriguing player to hold in dynasty leagues and will have RB2 upside if Rawls or Michael go down.
