Nearly eight months after his devastating ankle injury, Seattle Seahawks running back Thomas Rawls is back in practice. The second-year player was activated from the PUP list last week and took part in team drills on Monday, getting his first practice reps of training camp.
Thomas Rawls takes part in team drills, return from injury will boost fantasy value
Thomas Rawls is finally back in practice after a long injury layoff. We break down the fantasy implications.

Rawls broke out as an undrafted rookie last season and looked like a star in the making, but his season was cut short by a broken ankle suffered in Week 14. The injury took way longer to rehab than initially expected and there was some doubt that Rawls could be ready for the regular season. However, Rawls is back on schedule and could see some preseason action as early as this week.
Fantasy impact: Christine Michael had a spirited performance in the Seahawks’ preseason opener, but there’s no doubt that Rawls is still the lead man in Seattle’s backfield. If he avoids any setbacks with the ankle and continues holding off Michael, Rawls could be a fantasy bargain at his current third-round ADP.
