Ladarius Green can’t seem to catch a break. The Pittsburgh Steelers tight end has been absent for the majority of training camp due to concussion issues while also recovering from ankle surgery.
Ladarius Green injury setback would further drop fantasy value
We break down the fantasy football impact of Ladarius Green possibly having a setback in his recovery.

On Tuesday, Green was present for Pittsburgh’s final camp session. He was running and catching passes as though he was getting closer to being cleared to come off PUP and practice.
However, Green was later seen leaving the field with a trainer while walking gingerly. That could indicate some kind of setback with his ankle, or he suffered a new injury with his body likely being far from adequately conditioned.
Whatever it is, this is just another misfortune for Green, who continues to look “iffy” at best to ever suit up for the Steelers. They may just cut their losses and release Green if they can recoup his signing bonus.
Fantasy Spin: Until Green can even get on the practice field, he’s not even worth anything more than a late-round flyer in your fantasy draft. If he somehow gets healthy and plays for the Steelers this year, he has the potential to produce a lot in this offense.
Until then, Jesse James is the tight end to watch for in the Steelers offense. If Green doesn’t play, James is also someone to target towards the end of your draft. Whoever replaces Heath Miller in this offseason should be a viable fantasy tight end.
