Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Paxton Lynch impressed in his NFL debut against the Chicago Bears. The first-round draft pick completed 6 of 7 passes for 74 yards in the 22-0 win. He also took three sacks, showing there is room for improvement. Lynch looked comfortable in the pocket displaying his accuracy and arm strength with a combination of mid-range and long passes. He has continued to improve this week in the Broncos’ joint training camp with the San Francisco 49ers, garnering praise from head coach Gary Kubiak.
Paxton Lynch impresses with strong debut, fantasy potential growing
Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Paxton Lynch is making good progress. We look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Spin:
Right now, the Broncos’ starting quarterback role is wide open. Veteran Mark Sanchez is listed as the starter with second-year quarterback Trevor Siemian in the No. 2 position, but Kubiak does not seem to be close to naming a starter. Though it is highly unlikely Lynch will start in Week 1, he has potential to become the starter later in the year. His strong first showcase and raw talent could make him a great sleeper pick.
