Third-round draft pick Braxton Miller hauled in three catches for 34 yards on four targets in his second week of preseason action. He had four catches for 34 yards against the San Francisco 49ers in the exhibition opener. Miller is now up to seven catches on ten targets this preseason while his competition for the slot, Cecil Shorts, has no catches on only two targets.
2016 fantasy football sleepers: Braxton Miller continues productive preseason
Houston Texans slot receiver Braxton Miller had another solid outing in preseason Week 2 against the New Orleans Saints. We look at the fantasy implications.

The Houston Texans have star DeAndre Hopkins and fellow rookie Will Fuller penciled in as the two outside receivers, with Jaelen Strong rotating as well. Hopkins should command most of the coverage this fall, which should open up some easy throws for Miller and company.
Fantasy Spin: Time may be running out for Shorts to keep his spot on the roster if Miller continues this production throughout the preseason. The former Ohio State star brings explosiveness to the offense and can help stretch the field for new quarterback Brock Osweiler. It will be hard for the Texans to keep Miller out of the lineup if he continues to make the most of his targets.
