Los Angeles Rams rookie wide receiver Pharoh Cooper reached the end zone on his lone 11-yard grab Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Likely secure as the third wide receiver behind Tavon Austin and Kenny Britt, Cooper is expecting to see solid time on the field this season in the Rams’ up-and-coming offense.

Pharoh Cooper scores for L.A. as fantasy owners score a new sleeper

The Rams offense features a wealth of young, dynamic players, which should make for a splash in their first season in a new city. If fellow rookie and top overall pick Jared Goff is able to come along in the offense and become the starter, the youth of this roster has the opportunity to grow exponentially. Pharoh Cooper certainly has to be in that plan. With increased opportunities and reps with his quarterbacks, Cooper could be a solid sleeper in the slot for the Rams.
Fantasy Potential: Cooper should see increased opportunities to make plays in the slot as the Rams offense continues to find its groove. With young quarterbacks throwing to him, there may be an uphill climb early for Pharoh Cooper as the offense leans on its more established playmakers like Austin and Todd Gurley.
Fantasy owners should keep Cooper in mind as a potential late round selection or waiver option for the WR2 or Flex position.
