After a series of serious injuries, wide receiver Breshad Perriman is finally getting close to playing after the Baltimore Ravens activated him from the PUP list on Monday. Despite this good news, Perriman is still not getting in full practices, although he took part in the team’s walk-through drills.
Breshad Perriman activated from PUP but still a risky fantasy investment
The 2015 first-round pick has yet to play an NFL snap. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Ravens drafted Perriman in the first round in 2015, but he missed his entire rookie year with a PCL injury. This summer, he suffered a partially torn ACL, although he was able to avoid surgery, which would’ve cost him his second straight season.
Fantasy impact: It’s easy to still be excited about Perriman’s unique combination of size and speed, but he hasn’t had a practice rep in over 12 months and has fallen way behind on his NFL development. We’d like to actually see Perriman on the field and making plays before we’re comfortable recommending him as a fantasy sleeper. Currently he’s behind Steve Smith, Kamar Aiken and Mike Wallace on the Ravens’ depth chart.
