Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kendall Wright can’t shake his latest injury. He’s been dealing with a hamstring problem that’s kept him out of nearly the entire training camp and preseason. On Monday, head coach Mike Mularkey said that Wright is “doubtful” to play in the team’s third preseason game this weekend.
Kendall Wright’s lingering injury tanking his fantasy value
The Titans don’t expect to have Wright ready for the third preseason game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Wright was once one of the Titans’ most promising playmakers, but injuries and inconsistency have stalled out his career. He had a year to forget in 2015, playing just 10 games and recording career-low marks of 36 catches and 408 yards, with his three touchdowns being his lowest total since 2013.
Fantasy impact: The 2012 first-round pick has fallen out of favor in Mularkey’s offense, with Rishard Matthews and rookie Tajae Sharpe passing him on the depth chart. Wright should play a part as the No. 3 receiver if healthy this year (that’s a big if), but the Titans’ aggressive run-first approach means that there won’t be many targets to go around. Wright is a bottom-barrel dart throw in the final rounds of 12-team fantasy drafts.
