Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen is getting back to health after a minor back issue. Olsen returned to practice Monday and should be ready to go for the regular season opener.
Greg Olsen returns to practice and will be high-end fantasy TE
The Panthers are expected to have Greg Olsen ready for Week 1. We break down the fantasy implications.

One of the most durable players in the league, Olsen hasn’t missed a game since the 2007 season.
Olsen sat out a few days of practice and missed the second game of preseason with his back injury, which was never believed to be anything serious. Olsen will return as Cam Newton’s most trusted weapon after hauling in 77 catches for 1,104 yards and seven touchdowns last year.
Fantasy impact: The return of Kelvin Benjamin may siphon a few targets away, but Olsen remains by far the most reliable pass-catcher in Carolina’s offense. He’s arguably the overall TE2 in standard fantasy, behind only Rob Gronkowski. You should generally avoid reaching for tight ends in your fantasy draft, but Olsen is a defensible pick at his current fifth-round price.
