There is no doubt in anyone’s mind after Monday’s Little League World Series games that both the Great Lakes and the international Asia-Pacific teams are going to prove difficult to beat.
Little League World Series scores and bracket 2016: Great Lakes, Asia-Pacific get big wins Monday
The games continue to roll on in the Little League World Series, and some teams are proving to be quite dominant.


The Great Lakes team, which hails from Bowling Green, Kentucky, earned a big 14-4 victory over their rivals from the Midwest region late Monday night. The victory propels the Great Lakes squad to a game against Mid-Atlantic on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Asia-Pacific, which is from Seoul, South Korea, had a similar victory earlier in the day when they blanked Canada, 10-0. Their next game will be a tough Latin America squad on Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET.
The other games of the day were much closer, with teams winning by four runs, two runs and one run as the tournament carried on. The losers and winners from each game will advance in the tournament bracket.
