Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater returned to practice for the team on Tuesday for the first time since August 16. He did not play in the team’s preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks last Thursday.
Teddy Bridgewater back at practice Tuesday, sleeper fantasy potential for 2016
The Vikings’ young quarterback returned to practice after sitting out the team’s second preseason game last Thursday. We explore the fantasy implications.

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer told the media after Thursday’s game that he made the decision to hold Bridgewater out and that it was nothing related to the quarterback’s health. However, a report by ESPN’s Ben Goessling later revealed that Bridgewater did not play against the Seahawks due to a sore shoulder.
Fantasy impact: Bridgewater has yet to move up into QB1 status during his short career, but that could change in 2016. If his 49-yard touchdown pass to Charles Johnson in Minnesota’s first preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals was any indication, fantasy owners could see a different kind of Bridgewater this year.
For now, he remains a solid QB2 fantasy option but that could change as the season progresses.
