For as good as Aaron Rodgers has been, the All-Pro quarterback has rarely had a serviceable tight end. The Green Bay Packers are hoping that changes this year with the addition of Jared Cook.
Jared Cook meshing with Aaron Rodgers, fantasy value still low
We break down the fantasy implications of Jared Cook emerging in the Packers offense now that he is healthy.

With the third week of preseason games approaching, Cook has already “developed a rapport” with Rodgers, according to Packers.com reporter Wes Hodkiewicz. After missing most of the offseason due to foot surgery, Cook was activated from the PUP list two weeks ago.
Since then, Cook has impressed the Packers while developing a nice role in the offense, which should allow any quality tight end to thrive in it. Cook’s career thus far has seen the likes of Case Keenum, Nick Foles, Vince Young, Jake Locker and Kerry Collins throwing him passes.
Imagine what he will do with Rodgers now being his quarterback.
Fantasy Spin: As long as Cook stays healthy, he should be a good TE2 for your fantasy team. Many will point to Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson drawing most of the targets, but that should free up Cook to do more damage underneath, not to mention get him more red-zone targets.
Cook’s current ADP has him going towards the end of fantasy drafts. If you wait until the final two rounds to add a backup tight end, landing Cook there would be a solid move.
