Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian started Wednesday’s practice with a few throws during the team’s warm up, according to reporters present at the Broncos’ facilities. Denver’s second-year quarterback did not throw at the team’s practice on Tuesday because of shoulder soreness.
Trevor Siemian back to throwing at practice, not a legit fantasy option yet
After a minor setback on Tuesday, the Broncos’ quarterback was back to throwing passes on Wednesday. We explore the fantasy implications.

If he wants to remain in the running for the Broncos’ starting quarterback job, he will have to avoid missing too many more reps during practice. Siemian will need as many opportunities as he can get to open the regular season as the starter if the battle between the Denver quarterbacks is truly as close as their coaching staff has made it seem.
He is scheduled to start on Saturday for the Broncos when they play the Los Angeles Rams in Denver.
Fantasy impact: For 2016, Siemian has little to no fantasy value. He could possibly become an option for fantasy owners after a few games if he continues to start for the Broncos, but it is incredibly hard to gauge how a player who only has one pass attempt in his NFL career will perform.
