Rob Gronkowski returns to to practice Wednesday, top fantasy value remains intact
The Patriots’ tight end was back on the practice field for the first time since Aug. 15. We explore the fantasy implications.

His status for New England’s regular season opener does not seem to be in any sort of jeopardy.
Fantasy impact: For 2016, Gronkowski will continue to be the top option at tight end for fantasy owners. As he did in 2015, Gronkowski has the highest ADP of any tight end heading into the upcoming regular season.
Fantasy owners should also be happy with the cautiousness the Patriots are using with their star tight end, as the team knows how important he is to their success in 2016.
Even though he has not played in a full, 16-game season since 2011, Gronkowski’s 23 touchdown receptions in the last two years make it much easier for fantasy owners to use an early pick on the tight end.
