After a minor injury scare, Chicago Bears running back Jeremy Langford got in a full practice on Thursday. There’s no concern about his availability for Week 1 following a foot issue.
Jeremy Langford back at full practice, minor injury not a fantasy concern
After spending some time in a walking boot, Jeremy Langford is back to full practice on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Langford appeared to have his foot stepped on during the Bears’ second preseason game. He was spotted in a walking boot and missed nearly a week of practice, but the second-year player is back in business. Langford will attempt to replace Matt Forte as the Bears’ starting RB after putting up 537 rushing yards and seven total touchdowns as a rookie last season.
Fantasy impact: Despite the Bears’ deliberate ambiguity over injury reports, there never seemed to be any concern about Langford. It also doesn’t seem like Langford will be stuck in a committee — he’s well ahead of Ka’Deem Carey, Jacquizz Rodgers and rookie Jordan Howard on the depth chart.
Currently the undisputed starter, Langford is a favored candidate to make a leap in his second season. He’s a fine RB2 option in standard fantasy leagues.
