Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins will get snaps with the starting offense against Cleveland Friday, according to Roy Cummings of 620 Tampa. The Bucs’ beat writer reports that Seferian-Jenkins’ promotion is a reward for solid showings in the team’s first two preseason games as well as in camp. Cummings also added that Seferian-Jenkins credits his improvement to figuring out the mental aspect of the game. Seferian-Jenkins currently backs up third-year TE Cameron Brate.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins earns snaps with first-team. We look at fantasy implications.

Fantasy Spin:
Seferian-Jenkins has really turned around his performance since the start of camp. The third-year TE can only improve his stock if he has a strong performance with the starting offense in Week 3. Too early to tell if Seferian-Jenkins will beat out Brate for the starting role, but it looks like he has a lot of upside as a TE2 for fantasy owners.
