Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is nearly cleared from the concussion he suffered last week. Bryant returned to practice on Sunday, although he was limited to individual drills. If there are no setbacks, he should be 100 percent cleared well in advance of the Week 1 opener.
Dez Bryant returns to practice, fantasy value still high
Bryant is back at practice after missing a week with a concussion. We break down the fantasy implications.
Bryant suffered the concussion during a practice session and did not travel with the team for its third preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks. Never lacking in confidence, Bryant told reporters on Monday that he’s feeling “unstoppable” and didn’t even believe that he had a concussion, saying “it was just symptoms or whatever. I felt fine.”
Fantasy impact: After foot injuries ruined his 2015 season, fantasy owners had to have been worried about Bryant missing time with the concussion symptoms. However, he should be ready for the regular season and is a top bounce-back candidate.
Despite rookie Dak Prescott subbing in for an injured Tony Romo, Bryant remains one of the league’s best fantasy playmakers at age 27. He’s a relatively safe investment at the first/second-round turn in standard 12-team drafts.
