Jeff Janis is back at practice, but his broken right hand is still not fully healed. He is currently practicing with a club on that hand, according to Packers News reporter Tom Silverstein.
Jeff Janis practicing with club on hand, fantasy value still low
We break down the fantasy impact of Jeff Janis returning to practice with a club on his injured hand.
Janis broke his hand earlier in training camp before undergoing surgery that was projected to sideline him 4-6 weeks. However, Janis returned to practice on Monday while wearing a club on his injured hand, which he continued to wear during Tuesday’s session.
The injury has allowed Jared Abbrederis and Davante Adams to remain ahead of Janis on the depth chart, in addition to Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson already there.
Fantasy Spin: Janis is not even a lock to make the Green Bay Packers’ 53-man roster, even after his postseason breakout. With Cobb and Nelson now healthy, it will be hard for Janis to get any targets in this offense.
His current ADP has him going undrafted in most fantasy leagues. You should follow suit and pass on Janis.
