The Indianapolis Colts are not concerned about Dwayne Allen’s hip injury. Head coach Chuck Pagano said Tuesday that Allen was “fine” after missing two straight practices, according to Indy Star reporter Stephen Holder.
Dwayne Allen not practicing with hip injury, fantasy value low
We break down the fantasy football impact of Dwayne Allen missing practice with a hip injury.

This comes in the midst of a preseason in which Allen has caught just two passes for 10 yards while fumbling once in three games. The fifth-year pro was re-signed this offseason to a four-year, $29 million contract to remain the Colts primary tight end.
Fantasy Spin: If healthy, Allen is in for a big season with Andrew Luck back in the lineup. The last time those two played together consistently was in 2014. That was when Allen caught eight touchdowns from Luck.
With Coby Fleener now gone, Allen should see even more targets this coming season, so long as he can stay healthy. His current ADP has him being drafted as a backup tight end in many fantasy leagues. He has the potential to be a TE1 for your team, but try and draft him as your TE2.
