After missing a portion of 2015 due to injury, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck got off to a blazing hot start to this season in his team’s opening game against the Detroit Lions last Sunday. In Indianapolis’ 39-35 loss to the Lions, Luck finished the day completing 31 of his 47 passes for 385 yards and four touchdowns.

After his performance against Detroit, the Colts quarterback proved to his doubters that he still has the ability to be a top passer in the league today. However, he would be extremely lucky to have a similar type of game when he heads to Denver this weekend to take on the Broncos and their ferocious defense.
Fantasy Impact: To begin with, the Broncos defense only allowed a quarterback to throw for at least 300 yards on them two times during the 2015 season, including the playoffs. In addition, both of those instances came courtesy of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
Denver’s defense will obviously make it a challenge for Luck to put up an impressive stat sheet on Sunday. He performed pretty well last year in the Colts’ matchup with the Broncos, throwing for 252 yards and two touchdowns.
Yahoo! projects the Indianapolis quarterback to throw for 247 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception this weekend. If fantasy owners have another legitimate quarterback option on their roster, this might be the week to start him over Luck.
