We could see the return of Tyler Eifert very soon, but Week 4 may be a little too soon.

Eifert is still recovering from offseason ankle surgery that caused him to miss the first three games of the regular season. The tight end has been practicing since last week, but mostly did so in a limited capacity.
The expectation has been Eifert would miss at least the first four games, then get a 10-day break before Cincinnati faces the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5. That gives him more time to get his body conditioned and up to speed for live NFL game action.
Fantasy Impact: Even though Eifert may not play this week, he still has a ton of fantasy upside going forward. See if he’s available in your league’s waiver wire, as he is owned in about 78 percent of CBS leagues.
While Eifert has been injury-prone, his upside in this offense is far too high to not have him owned in close to 100 percent of leagues.
