Fantasy football rankings, Week 1: Consensus wide receivers for standard leagues

The SB Nation fantasy writers reveal who the top 50 wide receivers in standard leagues are for the first week of the 2016 regular season.

The crop of talented wide receivers in the NFL seems to grow larger and larger after each season. The 2015 campaign was no different with 26 pass catchers gaining over 1,000 yards receiving, seven of whom also caught over 100 passes.

Antonio Brown, Julio Jones, DeAndre Hopkins and Odell Beckham led this skillful position group last year and there is no reason to think they will not continue to do so again this season.

For Week 1, Brown (vs. Washington) and Jones (vs. Tampa Bay) will look to continue where they left off last season while Hopkins (vs. Chicago) and Beckham (vs. Dallas) may struggle to produce in their first games based on the defenses they are going against.

As it goes for the early part of every year, keeping an eye on the rookies and receivers with new teams will also be something for fantasy owners to prioritize. Marvin Jones (Lions), Kevin White (Bears), Breshad Perriman (Ravens), Corey Coleman (Browns) and Will Fuller (Texans) are just a few of the wide receivers who have the potential to become valuable assets in 2016 for fantasy owners.
