A lacerated kidney, abdominal tear, and broken ribs limited Luck to just seven games in 2016. He never missed a game in his previous three seasons, so his poor health was hopefully just a fluke.

He is ranked as a top-three quarterback heading into Week 1. Unless this injury continues to limit him in practice this week, start Luck against the Detroit Lions.
