Super Bowl 2017 schedule: Dates and times for the full week of events

There will be plenty more going on in Houston than just the big game.

The wait is nearly over. Super Bowl LI between the Atlanta Falcons and New England Patriots will kick off on Sunday, Feb. 5, and will be played at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. That’s not all that will take place in Houston to celebrate the big game, though.

As with every Super Bowl, there is a plethora of events that fans traveling to the game can go to. Some of them last throughout the week, too. The NFL Experience offers games, youth football clinics, team gear, and even autograph sessions from various NFL players. There, you can also participate in a 40-yard dash and vertical jump. There are also Super Bowl rings on display and fans can get a photo with the Lombardi Trophy.

Super Bowl Live features a free fan village for family activities, including a ride called the Future Flight that transports riders to Mars — with a little help from virtual reality goggles. At the NFL Fan gallery, visitors can gather outside of the media center to catch all of the action leading up to kickoff.

Other events throughout the week include the NFL Foundation’s golf tournament the Friday before the game, and a Kickoff To Rebuild event. There is also the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration, which hosts Grammy Award-winning gospel and contemporary Christian and mainstream artists, along with marquee NFL players.

Throughout the week, there is a Super Bowl Live concert with a celebrated lineup of singers and bands that all have ties to the state of Texas, including Solange, Leon Bridges, and Gary Clark Jr.

Check out the full schedule of events for the week below. You can find the full list of events here.
