It was quite the ending.

The matchup between the Raiders and Chiefs may have been the most entertaining Thursday Night Football game of the entire season. A wild finish with two untimed plays gave the Raiders some extra shots at a score that could put Oakland’s season back on track. It also led to the Chiefs’ second consecutive loss after starting the season 5-0.

Chiefs and Raiders fans reacted accordingly.

The Raiders were trailing 30-24, but Derek Carr was moving them down the field. He hit Jared Cook to convert a fourth-and-11, and he hit Cook again on a third-and-10, which looked like a touchdown in real time.

Next up was a laser from Derek Carr to Michael Crabtree in the end zone. But Crabtree was flagged for offensive pass interference.

Chiefs fans can’t believe their luck:

Raiders fans weren’t happy with the call:

A defensive holding call gives the Raiders another shot at the end zone

The Chiefs were flagged for holding as time expired. Cook wasn’t able to come down with the catch, and the holding call gave the Raiders an untimed play to try and get the win.

And the Raiders got yet another untimed down after the Chiefs were called for holding again.

Chiefs fans can’t believe it:

Raiders fans can’t either:

Oakland gets another untimed play

It all came down to the Raiders’ second untimed play. It was a low laser to Michael Crabtree, who came up with the touchdown.

The Raiders still had to convert the extra point to win after missing two kicks earlier in the game. This one went through.

Chiefs fans blamed the defense:

Raiders fans celebrated, and understandably so:

It was a heartbreaking loss for the Chiefs, and a much-needed win for the Raiders. It was also quite a ride for fans of both teams.
