Bills rookie wide receiver Zay Jones injured his right leg in the first half against the New York Jets on Thursday night. Luckily for him and the Bills, he returned to the game.
Bills WR Zay Jones suffers leg injury vs. Jets, returns to game
The rookie wideout scored his first career TD earlier in the game.

The injury was non-contact, as his legs got tangled beneath him, and it appeared he hyperextended his right knee. He was able to walk it off, and return in the second half.
Jones had scored his first career touchdown earlier in the game. Coming into Thursday night’s game, he had 10 receptions for 115 yards on the season. The Bills selected him in the second round of the 2017 NFL draft out of East Carolina, and expected him to make a difference in the offense this season.
The Bills traded for Kelvin Benjamin earlier this week, and will likely take Jones’ place as the WR2 in the offense. But Jones has pieced together a nice game for Buffalo so far. It’s been a timely performance for the rookie.
