The NFL announced that the Super Bowl LI halftime show featuring Lady Gaga was the most-watched musical event of all-time across all platforms. It was also the most-watched Super Bowl halftime performance in history through broadcast and digital channels, per the NFL.

The NFL is certainly happy with this one.
Between YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and Giphy, the show was an absolute hit. The Halftime Show is the most-watched video on the NFL’s YouTube channel with more than 24 million views. There were 2.2 million real-time tweets about the show, and 49 million Facebook video views. The GIFs from the performance generated 75 million views on Giphy.
There was plenty to watch from the performance. There were tons of drones, which at one point made an American flag. There was a hidden protest song early on, and she even jumped off the roof of the stadium.
The NFL was happy with the outcome.
