Darrelle Revis was cleared of four felony charges Wednesday, including aggravated assault and terroristic threats, that stemmed from an altercation in Pittsburgh in February.
Darrelle Revis cleared of all charges stemming from February altercation
All charges against Darrelle Revis were dropped after a childhood friend said he was at fault.

Revis, 31, was arraigned Feb. 17, but Wednesday was the second court appearance for the former New York Jets cornerback. His attorney, Blaine Jones, maintained that Revis was the victim and was attacked by multiple men at 2:30 a.m. on a Monday morning in February.
“Mr. Revis came home to Pittsburgh this past weekend to visit family and friends. During that time, Mr. Revis went by a location in the South Side that he is in the process of developing,” Jones said, via WTAE. “Mr. Revis was physically assaulted while at that location by a group of at least five people. Mr. Revis feared for his safety and retreated from the aggressors.”
In court Wednesday, a childhood friend of Revis said that he was the one who got in an altercation with the accusers after pulling them from the cornerback:
Video from the aftermath of the altercation was published by TMZ and a man can be heard making threats, but Revis’ friend told the judge Wednesday that it was him and not the cornerback who could be heard on the video.
Revis is currently a free agent after he was released by New York at the end of February. The seven-time Pro Bowler made 15 starts for the Jets in 2016.
