From this photo, it’s pretty clear that Mbappe was well offside when the ball was crossed to him by Thomas Lemar.
Just five minutes before this, Mbappe got another favorable call — a soft penalty on Sokratis when the Frenchman went down easily in the box after suffering minimal contact. Thankfully for Dortmund, Fabinho missed the penalty.
