With the 2017 NFL draft nearing, excitement for the event is growing by the minute. On Thursday, the NFL announced the prospects who will be attending this year’s event, which will be held at the Philadelphia Museum of Art at Ekans Oval.

Twenty-two prospects will be attending the big event, including Clemson’s Deshaun Watson, and LSU’s Leonard Fournette.

LSU safety Jamal Adams, projected to be a top-10 pick, has already said he wants to be the best-dressed player at the draft.

The players invited to the draft are those who will likely be chosen in the first round, though some of the top prospects inevitably choose not to attend the event.

Pass rusher Myles Garrett, the consensus top pick in the draft, will watch at home with his family — and perhaps eat some crawfish. Malik Hooker, a safety out of Ohio State, also declined an invitation to the draft so he could be with his friends and family. Alabama tight end O.J. Howard will also be at home with friends and family.

There’s also, of course, the fear that an invited player doesn’t end up getting picked as high as he was projected during mock draft season. In years past, players like Aaron Rodgers, Johnny Manziel, and Myles Jackwho watched the second night of last year’s draft from a hotel room in Chicago — have dealt with this somewhat humiliating ordeal.

Last year, quarterback Jared Goff was there to shake Roger Goodell’s hand when the Rams drafted him with the first pick. Running back Ezekiel Elliott also attended the event in his signature crop top. Perhaps the most talked about moment was when a video of Laremy Tunsil smoking a bong was leaked right before the start of the draft. The offensive tackle, widely considered a top-three pick, fell all the way down to the Dolphins with the 13th pick.

This year, other than Garrett likely going first overall, there isn’t much consensus on who will be drafted where, which leaves plenty of intrigue about how the top picks will unfurl.
