Original post: The much-hyped meeting of Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor in a boxing match is still more than a month away, but the press tour and trash talking officially kicks off Tuesday in Los Angeles.

It’s the first of a four-day world tour that will go to four cities and three countries — stopping off in Toronto, Brooklyn and London — and promises to deliver plenty of entertainment all on its own.

McGregor has turned press conferences into spectacles over the course of his mixed martial arts career. While he and Mayweather have traded barbs through the media — including McGregor telling TMZ on Monday that the undefeated boxer should’ve stayed retired — Tuesday will be the first time the two will be able to truly banter back and forth in the same place.

With a win, Mayweather would improve to 50-0, while McGregor will be making his professional boxing debut after compiling a 21-3 record in MMA.

Video from Los Angeles is expected to begin at about 5 p.m. ET with the official start of the press conference set for 5:30 p.m. ET. Showtime is providing a free stream of the press conference, as well as the UFC.

It will also be televised on Fox Sports 2, beginning at 5:30 p.m., and can be streamed on the Fox Sports GO App.
