Competitive gaming isn’t going anywhere, and the yearly Evo fighting game tournament is a sure sign of that. The best players in the world compete for trophies and cash prizes in the biggest games, including the latest entries in the Street Fighter, Tekken, Killer Instinct, Guilty Gear, and Super Smash Bros. series.

Mainstream sporting press has been slow to adopt competitive gaming, or esports, but ESPN has occasionally dipped its toes in the water. On Sunday, for the second year in a row, ESPN2 will broadcast the Street Fighter V top 8 finals, beginning at 10 p.m. ET.

Those finals will also be available to be streamed online via WatchESPN and the ESPN App for the simulcast of the ESPN coverage. If you prefer to watch elsewhere or jump around to other games, multiple channels on Twitch.tv have been streaming coverage throughout the past few days.

On Sunday, Twitch will also have the Street Fighter V finals. Notably, the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U finals were broadcast by Disney XD this year for the first time. Those Smash Bros. finals can also be viewed on ESPNU at the same time.

The Street Fighter series is developed by Capcom and has been around since the early arcades. Super Street Fighter II is widely considered one of the best fighting games in the genre, and a healthy tournament scene — involving prize money, wagering and much more — has always existed around the franchise.

Street Fighter V is the latest in the franchise, and one that nearly didn’t happen until Sony, manufacturers of the PlayStation 4, contributed funds to help get the game made. That resulted in the game being released on PS4 and PC, but not on Microsoft’s Xbox One.

The game was put out while missing a lot of content, which had some fans angry, but the actual fighting gameplay was consistently praised as some of the best in the genre. Street Fighter V has top billing at Evo, and for good reason.

Below is all you need to know to watch the action on Sunday.
