Football is a dangerous sport and it’s difficult for any team to get through training camp without suffering any injuries. The last thing any player needs to do is to come to camp with another way to get hurt.
Attention NFL players: Leave your nipple rings at home
David Irving wore nipple rings in Cowboys training camp. It went exactly how you’d expect.

So Dallas Cowboys defensive end David Irving probably should’ve thought twice before showing up for camp with nipple rings ... because the obvious happened.
Irving tweeted Thursday night that he lost a nipple ring in practice, and it was about as gross as you’d expect.
Yikes.
Irving, 23, is facing a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s PED policy, so his nipple should have plenty of time to heal before it’s time for the third-year pass rusher to go after opposing quarterbacks in the regular season.
But for now, Irving’s going to keep practicing in camp and it will probably be uncomfortable. Maybe that’s a good thing, though.
Please NFL players, take out the nipple rings before reporting to training camp.
