You may have heard a thing or two about the total solar eclipse that happened today. It’s the first coast-to-coast total eclipse in nearly a century, and it’s got everybody around the country — and in the NFL — excited.

NFL teams, players, and coaches took in the eclipse in different ways on Monday.

The Titans specifically moved a practice session so the team could be together to see it on the practice field, with GM Jon Robinson purchasing 200 pairs of glasses for the team to watch it.
Head coach Mike Mularkey and Robinson took in the eclipse together during the team’s practice.
Good effort by Mularkey and Robinson to make it a team bonding event in preseason.
Though, if Delanie Walker has trouble catching the ball this season, it might be because his glasses didn’t work.

The Chiefs also gathered outside as a team to view the eclipse, after moving their practice time back because of the celestial event from 1:40 to 2:25 p.m.

Moon was blocking solar eclipse jokes, while making his own, since — well — he’s Warren Moon.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame put together this rather hilarious amateur video of Warren Moon’s bust going past Sonny Jurgensen’s.
The best part of the video is the beginning, when you hear somebody say, “ready?” and the response, “mhm.” The effort is appreciated.
The Browns saved their franchise player
Joe Thomas has been the one good thing the Browns have had over the past decade. Despite the many bad teams he’s been on in Cleveland, he’s remained loyal to the Browns.
He asked whether or not it was safe to look at the eclipse with sunglasses (hopefully you didn’t do that, because it’s not!), and the Browns were quick to stop Thomas.

“Total Eclipse of the Heart” jokes were not going to go unused
Bonnie Tyler’s 1983 hit is getting plenty of spins as people try their hardest to be clever for the exciting event. CNN even invited her to sing it on their network.
