The 2017 Little League World Series is down to championship weekend, beginning Saturday with the title games in both the United States and international brackets.

Two championship games on Saturday!


ESPN will televise both games from Lamade Stadium in Williamsport, Penn., beginning with the international championship game at 12:30 p.m. ET. Both games will be streamed online through WatchESPN.
There are a pair of undefeated teams remaining, with both Japan and North Carolina at 3-0 in the tournament. Both teams have only allowed one total run in their three games, including a combined perfect game and a no-hitter for North Carolina in their first two games.
Japan will face Mexico in the international championship game at 12:30 p.m., looking for their fourth international crown in the last six years. Japan also won the overall Little League World Series championship in 2012, 2013, and 2015.
On the United States side, North Carolina will battle Texas for the domestic title. These two teams played in a hard-fought game that lasted seven innings on Wednesday night, with North Carolina prevailing 2-1 on a walk-off error.
Saturday’s two winners will advance to the Little League World Series championship game on Sunday.
