There’s no shortage of fans who will be attempting to watch a free stream of the boxing match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor, but those who paid $99.99 for the pay-per-view streams expect a hassle-free way to watch.

Mayweather-McGregor is breaking pay-per-view and people are freaking out.
So far, plenty of fans aren’t happy with what they paid for.
Both Showtime and the UFC offered the pay-per-view to stream on their websites and mobile platforms. Both are having problems.
The UFC tweeted that problems with overwhelming traffic were making it difficult for users to log in.
While Showtime hasn’t announced any problems with its stream, a long list of upset fans on Twitter have:

Even paying for the fight to watch on TV isn’t a sure thing. College basketball personality Dick Vitale is trying to watch the fight and coming up empty-handed too.
There were similar problems for fans who purchased the pay-per-view fight between Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao two years ago.
The issues have caused the pace of the fight card to slow down, as Showtime has tried to allow time to get the problems fixed.
The main event is the only fight the huge majority of buyers really paid to see, so Showtime and the UFC have some time to figure things out. But they better hurry, because those trying to legally watch online aren’t happy.
