It might take a little longer before we see the fight.

Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor is officially getting underway on Saturday night, but pay-per-view service problems have plagued the show all night. As a result, it will take a little longer than anticipated before the main event gets started.

The main PPV card started at 9 p.m. ET with three undercard bouts, with Mayweather and McGregor reportedly planning to walk to the ring around 11:15 p.m. However, many viewers have had problems accessing the show, with cable providers failing to get the PPV feed up and the UFC’s Fight Pass streaming service crashing multiple times.

We can probably blame this on California and Florida.

The problem seems bad enough that some customers might not even be able to see the fight in HD at this point.

Right now, it appears that the main event won’t start until well after midnight. We’ll get to see the fight eventually, though the unprecedented demand has led to unforeseen problems.

Hopefully you weren’t planning on going to bed early.
