Ok, now that that’s out of the way, you should know that on our first weekly preview of the 2017 season, we attempt to answer the following questions:
• How will Florida State respond to a dual-threat QB in Alabama’s Jalen Hurts after 2016’s spotty dual-threat history vs. Lamar Jackson, Mitch Trubisky, Quinton Flowers, Chad Kelly, and Deshaun Watson?
• Can Jim Harbaugh and Michigan take advantage of a somewhat depleted Florida team, which seems to keep suspending players (including star WR Antonio Callaway)?
• What will the first week of new look Notre Dame (vs. new look Temple) look like with a newly zen’d out head coach Brian Kelly?
• Can Tennessee weather a tricky and sometimes dominant Georgia Tech offense while answering big questions of their own (QB, LB, OC, etc.)?
• Who has the edge in West Virginia-Virginia Tech with so many questions on both sides, including WVU QB Will Grier’s fit, Mountaineer defensive inexperience, and Virginia Tech QB Josh Jackson starting his first game?
