Vasyl Lomachenko will headline a packed night of fights from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Calif.. Lomachenko will be taking on Miguel Marriaga in a super featherweight bout, and is putting up his WBO title in the process. Saturday’s card will also see Ray Beltran take on Bryan Vasquez and the live streamed-undercard will feature the professional debut of United States Olympian Mikaela Mayer.

ESPN will carry a strong night of boxing on Saturday, headlined by a bout between Vasyl Lomachenko and Miguel Marriaga.

Saturday’s card begins at 7 p.m. ET with the ESPN3-live streamed undercard. That will include the Mayer fight as well as a handful of others, leading up to the 10 p.m. main card on ESPN. That will feature the Beltran vs. Vasquez fight as well as the headliner between Lomachenko and Marriaga.
The ESPN broadcast will also be live streamed on ESPN3 and the ESPN App.
Lomachenko is one of the very best in his division, and he wanted his next fight to be against Orlando Salido, the man who took a controversial split decision over Lomachenko back in 2014, giving him his only career loss to date. But that fight couldn’t come together.
Marriaga is a solid gatekeeper for the super featherweight division, and has some good wins under his belt. But he lost his last outing, a unanimous decision against Oscar Valdez. He fought hard in that fight though, and a knockout of rising prospect Guy Robb in late 2016 make it clear: Marriaga is still a dangerous boxer.
The undercard is also packed. The bout between Beltran and Vasquez is fitting as a co-feature on the broadcast. Many have been anticipating the professional debut of Mayer, and she is favored over Widnelly Figueroa.
