The Cleveland Indians have been hot — they’ve won 21 straight games, which sets an American League record, and ties the MLB record.
Indians have won 21 consecutive games. Browns have won 21 games since Oct. 24, 2011
How can something be so impressive and so sad at the same time?

It also matches the amount of games the Cleveland Browns have won over several years:
While that’s not the best look for the Browns, the streak has inspired Hue Jackson:
It’s not a secret that the Browns are one of the most hilariously bad franchises in all of sports. Since they came back to the NFL in 1999, there hasn’t been a whole lot to cheer about.
There’s a good chance the Browns don’t hear the end of this one, either. The Indians open up a four-game series against the Royals starting on Thursday. The last time the two teams faced off in a series was at the beginning of the Indians’ win streak, where they shut them out over three games, 20-0.
That means by Sunday, if the Indians were to miraculously sweep the Royals in four games, they would be up to 25. If the Browns can beat the Ravens Sunday on the road, they’d be up to just 22 wins since Oct. 24, 2011.
Not all appears bad for the Browns, though:
It’s OK, Browns. Your day will come ... eventually.
