On paper, for fantasy owners, DeSean Jackson disappointed in his debut with the Buccaneers on Sunday against the Bears. He was targeted seven times, catching three passes for 39 yards.
Fantasy football Week 3: DeSean Jackson, start or sit?
The Bucs receiver got quite a few targets in Week 2, but was unable to produce. We break down what it means for Week 3.

But those that watched the game had enough to have some hope. James Winston wasn’t hesitant to try and stretch the field with shots down field to Jackson. Jackson also caught a 29-yard pass that would’ve been a touchdown, but he didn’t stay in bounds.
Fantasy impact: Jackson will line up across from Mike Evans, who will be defended by Vikings shutdown corner Xavier Rhodes. Rhodes was able to shut down Antonio Brown last week, holding him to three catches for 28 yards (Brown had two receptions for 36 yards when not being defended by Rhodes). Martinis Bryant, playing across from Brown, had a monster game, compiling 91 yards and a touchdown on three catches. Bryant had the ultimate home run game, with a 51-yard catch on a free play, a 27-yard touchdown catch on a crossing route that left Terence Newman in the dust and another catch for 13 yards. Jackson is a home run hitter.
Recommendation: Start
