Maybe Joe Flacco just doesn’t want to see Lamar Jackson win.
A brief history of Joe Flacco sabotaging his backup QB, from Tyrod Taylor to Lamar Jackson
Does Joe Flacco hate his backup quarterbacks? We took a look at Cool Joe’s history.

In the first quarter of the Ravens’ game against their rival Pittsburgh Steelers, Joe Flacco had a chance to hit Lamar Jackson for a wide open touchdown pass, but he didn’t.
Jackson has yet to catch a pass this season, and his first one could’ve been a touchdown.
The only other target Jackson has seen this year was a peculiar throw from Flacco where Jackson could’ve gotten seriously injured.
Flacco has a long history of this
This isn’t even the first time Flacco and the Ravens have used a quarterback at receiver. When Tyrod Taylor was with the team in 2011, he would occasionally line up at wide receiver as well.
Flacco has been a bit of a brat when it comes to other quarterbacks lining up on the field with him. Back in 2013, Flacco said the Wildcat offense was “high school offense”.

Flacco’s wife even think that he needs to show a little when the Ravens try to get creative with Jackson and Flacco.
“My wife gave me crap one day, told me I need to look more interested out there,” Flacco said. “But I’m just trying to stay out of it. I’m not comfortable out there. I don’t need to get too creative.”
Is Joe Flacco jealous of his competition? Or is Joe Flacco too woke to let Lamar Jackson catch a touchdown pass, which would feed the trolls that said he would have to move to receiver in the NFL.
Either way, Jackson had a chance to score a touchdown for the Ravens and they missed the opportunity, a touchdown that would have given them an early lead in a must-win game. We know this won’t be the last time the Ravens run this play, so maybe Flacco will find a way to love it, or at least try and make it work, next time.
