The 2018 Winter Olympics are well on their way, and despite weather and condition delays to some of the early skiing events, things seems to be moving ahead according to schedule. Tuesday’s primetime events will include the figure skating pairs short program, the high-flying action of the men’s snowboard halfpipe, and the Sonic the Hedgehog speed of the women’s slalom — two events in which the United States are expected bring home medals.

Monday’s highly anticipated women’s halfpipe run by Chloe Kim is a tough act to follow, but Tuesday’s Olympic schedule includes the men’s snowboard halfpipe final and American Olympic legend Shaun White. White, now age 31, is competing in his fourth Olympic Games, and after winning back-to-back gold medals in 2006 and 2010, fell just shy of the medal podium in Sochi in 2014. White was to snowboarding over a decade ago, as Kim is to snowboarding now — an absolute pioneer and bar-setter for the world’s best.

Team USA also features four skiers in the women’s slalom event, including reigning gold medalist Mikaela Shiffrin. The 22-year-old phenom has the chance to leave Pyeongchang with five medals, quickly earning her comparisons to Summer Olympic swimmer, Michael Phelps. Tuesday’s slalom event will be the first of Shiffrin’s many runs, and could be just the start of what ends up being an impressive medal haul.

You can find live streaming of all events at NBC’s Olympics site.

Which Winter Olympic medals are up for grabs today?

Thanks to the two medals won Monday by the American women in the snowboard halfpipe event, the United States is now up to six medals in Pyeongchang. All three gold medals have been awarded to snowboarders (men’s and women’s slopestyle, and women’s halfpipe), along with a silver medal in men’s luge and two bronze medals (ice dancing free program, women’s snowboard halfpipe).

Team USA is still sitting at No. 5 among countries with medals, behind Norway (11), Netherlands (10), Canada (10), and Germany (9). The Americans have a chance to add some additional hardware Tuesday, with medal events, including the men’s snowboard halfpipe (8:30 p.m. ET), women’s alpine skiing slalom (11:45 p.m. ET), and the Nordic combined normal hill 10km (3:45 a.m. ET).
