The 2018 Preakness Stakes, the second leg of the Triple Crown, is set for Saturday. With a post time of approximately 6:20 p.m. ET, NBC will have the live TV coverage beginning at 5 p.m. and running through until post-race.

Online streaming of the race will be handled by NBC Sports or a streaming service that carries NBC, such as fuboTV. More pre-race coverage can be found on NBCSN, beginning at 2:30 p.m.

Justify is the horse the watch, as this year’s Kentucky Derby winner and the favorite for the 9 1/2 furlong Preakness. Trained by Bob Baffert, who has trained six Preakness winners in the past, and jockeyed by Mike Smith, Justify is 4-0 with over $2 million in career earnings. Baffert also trained American Pharoah, the Triple Crown winner from 2015.

Outside of Justify, who will start from the seventh post position, there are seven other horses in the field — significantly lower than the 10-furlong, 20-horse Derby. Quip, Lone Sasilor, Sporting Chance, Diamond King, Good Magic, Tenfold, and Bravazo are the other horses in order of starting.

Good Magic is the one to watch as far as horses that could score the upset over Justify. Trained by Chad Brown and jockeyed by Jose Ortiz, Good Magic has more career earnings than Justify, though just two wins in six starts (three second-place and one third-place finish as well).
