The Kentucky Derby is set for May 5, and Justify remains the favorite to win the first leg of the Triple Crown. The horse isn’t a massive favorite by any means, but has consistently been the top pick among experts and bettors.

As of Wednesday morning, the lines have Justify as a 13/4 favorite, or +325, according to Bovada.lv. Audible is next at 5/1 and Magnum Moon sits at 7/1 odds after that. Bolt d’Oro (8/1) and Good Magin (9/1) the only others that remain better than 10/1 odds.

The odds haven’t changed too much following the post position draw, which occurred on Tuesday. Justify will be starting from the seventh post. Magnum Moon drew 16th, while Audible will start from fifth, a popular starting spot for recent winners of the Run for the Roses.

DJ Fields, an odds consultant from Bookmaker.eu, noted that this is a challenging year for betting on the Derby.

“This year’s Kentucky Derby will be challenging for oddsmakers as again there is no single clear-cut favorite,” he said in a release. “Bookmaker.eu began posting odds to win the Kentucky Derby back in February, and we have seen tremendous line movement. No horse has commanded more wagering volume than Justify.”

Justify opened at 14/1, but bettors brought that line down to where it currently stands. Magnum Moon is the favorite “upset” candidate, opening at 25/1 but eventually moving all the way up to 7/1.

“Surprisingly, except for Justify, we have written more action on Magnum Moon than any other horse in the Run for the Roses thus far,” Fields said.

The Kentucky Derby is set for Saturday, with a post time at 6:46 p.m. ET. It will be televised by NBC.
