We’re inching closer to REAL FOOTBALL!
Training camp is underway for the Ravens and Bears
Football is back, kind of! The teams playing in the Hall of Fame game have officially begun training camp. Thursday’s Rise ‘n Grind takes a look at the road to the first preseason game of the year.

How can we tell? Well, the Ravens reported for training earlier this week, and today the Bears show up in Bourbonnais, IL to get ready for the Hall of Fame game.
In just a few short weeks we’ll see some terrible preseason football being played in Canton, Ohio. And in case it wasn’t clear, WE CAN’T WAIT. Give us terrible Ravens vs. Bears preseason football!
As the Ravens arrived at camp, wide receiver Willie Snead discussed how “it’s all on (Joe Flacco) now” after Baltimore added multiple offensive players this offseason. He also said the Ravens’ quarterback is open minded -- more than once -- in regards to the revolving door of offensive coordinators Flacco has endured in Baltimore. Our Ravens blog, Baltimore Beatdown, is on the scene and covering all the action in Baltimore, including rookie tight end Hayden Hurst discussing his self-confidence.
While things are just getting started in Illinois, SB Nation’s Bears blog Windy City Gridiron created The Bears alphabet guide to understanding training camp, which is a great primer on all-things Bears in 2018.
Oh, and ya know how else we know football is coming? Antonio Brown was announced as the cover star for EA Sports’ Maden NFL 19.

Tweet of the Day
One of my favorite parts of the summer is Hard Knocks. I love the NFL and I love reality television, so the combination is pretty awesome.
HBO just released a trailer for Hard Knocks with the Cleveland Browns and while it doesn’t offer much, the tweet saying “Welcome to Cleveland, where hope never dies,” surely had me laughing.
Seriously though, Browns fans are a loyal bunch.
